North West 200 Motorbikes

Hi guys here is a couple of photos I got at the qualifying of the North West 200 Road races here in Ireland. Not sure what they will look like now they have been resized for the forum but hope they look o.k. I think I done o.k. for my first attempt and it they were taken with a EOS 300D and a standard 18-55mm Lens. The second photo is at one of the fastest parts of the track. So I think I done well to get him in focus. Tell me your honest opinions and any tips that might help in the future. Cheers

The first one hasn't resized well but once you can zoom more you'll be away laughing

It's a good start though

I have a 100-300mm sigma but as I said this morning on another thread When I tried using it last night I got a err 99 Msg. I have been advise on what the problem might be. So I hope to get a few better pictures up in the next few days. I had a look at the first picture on the forum and it looks nothing like the original. I am disappointed in the resize. Thanks for the comments anyway.

Get that sigma working we need some good shots. The North West is an amazing event, the guys who race there must have balls made of steel. Went to watch it about 5 years back and loved it.

It could need modifying by Sigma to work with your digital body, cost is around £50..or whatever that is in €uros. Usually pops up with err99 when you try to stop it down.
