Just a few from the Winchester 200 ARCA race. Not my favorite type of racing and certainly not my best day at the track to say the least. The weather was pretty dark and gloomy, so not a lot of pop. I find it difficult to get creative and interesting shots on oval tracks. Definately something I need to work on.

Really crisp, clear photos with great color. It is not your fault that oval racing has photo ops compared to road courses. That is until they start going in odd directions :-)

I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot. :rolleyes:

Hey guys...thanks for the nice comments.

The camera/lens was the 20D and the 70-200L f2.8 lens. The problem with this track is that you get so close that anything over 135mm is overkill....

The car hitting the water barrier was shot at roughly 105mm....:p
