While I was stalking a woodpecker (I could hear him hammering) a deer crossed my path. Oh well, in the end, got the deer but not the woodpecker.

Looks like the deer definitely could see you in the first shot. Nice capture of a shocked deer. The second shot looks a shade dark. Maybe a little editing could brings out more of the deer and the green around her. Just the opinion of an amateur.
