None the less I would have done the same. Nice shots.

Yea,i think everyone would probably do the same to get the best shot, although the very close ones didn`t come out very good.

the detail of the whiskers in the first shot are just terrific

No,i didn`t clean it at all Marie,i didn`t have anything with me and i couldn`t go and tell the people...your cat scratced me,could you clean it please?  ,you know what i mean.
Instead,i let it bleed as much as it could (not a big cut or anything) and let nature do its thing.:D

I like the first one, the ear is cut off in the upper left corner, but that's not a big deal, the second one is fine in my opinion, I don't mind the fencing

Thanks A7 for your kind words.

About 10 years ago, we had these cats for sale here at a local pet store. I believe they were asking $1500 for them. I have ALWAYS wanted a large breed cat (ie. tiger) and I knew this was the closest I would come to my dream. However, I had neither the room nor the finances at the time to properly care for one. I think I cried for 2 days over not being able to take one home. LOL

I could be wrong, but I think that now they've since been on the "illegal pet" list in my city. They sure are beautiful creatures though. Maaaaayyyybe someday. *sigh* :)

What an extraordinary story spirit, wow,i don`t think however that it would make a good pet, their instincts are very very wild.
Anyway though,i hope one day you get one.;)

I was FLOORED to see them for sale! I hope whoever bought them knew what they were getting themselves into. They're FAR from a regular housecat, even though they top out at about 30-35 pounds (though some sources will tell you 15-25lbs, which is about the weight of a maine coon, ocelots are quite a bit larger), it's definitely the "leopard instinct" thing that can get the owners into trouble. The kittens were rediculously cute though. And BIG.

I absolutely love the second picture, btw. Shame about the bars though.

I love the clarity of the second shot. The wire does not detract at all IMO.

Chears Randy,i`m the same with the wire.
The eyes are so much clarified that the wire doesn`t bother me a bit,my eyes are constantly staring at his.

I think it would be very easy to clone them out. I'm not at home right now though so I can't help, but If you have photoshop skills you should give it a try. :)

I guess you maybe would have been arrested
for misbehaving:confused:
and maybe for putting them in an awkward position
as they had precautions there
and it probably causes ( the authorities) much distress when people go past any 'barriers'
as it is for everyone's own good

Instead,i let it bleed as much as it could (not a big cut or anything) and let nature do its thing.:D

sounds like it should be fine,
thanks
:D

just to say I also prefer the bars (as is)
(on the second picture)
