Hi I absolutely love my canon sd20. One thing that would make me love it even more is if the camera could record 640x480 quality movies beyond the 30 second limit.

I know there have been firmware hacks for other canon cameras that add the functionality of longer high qual vids at 640x480. Would anyone happen to know how I can add this to my own sd20? Thanks!

I'm wondering the same thing. It's been a while since the original poster asked the question, but has there been anything even firmware hacks that have developed since it was posted?

Not that I've seen. FWIW, current models will do 9 min. anyhow at 640x480x30 fps. So the need for a hack has probably become moot in the eyes of the developers.
