Greetings,

Since upgrading to 1.14 firmware, I've noticed that my remaining exposure count has now changed to 68 images on a 2GB compact flash card. It stays the same, regardless if I change from raw down to small jpg.

Any ideas here?

you are probabely on exposure # 9931. That leaves 68 exposures till 9999 is reached...

That was it! Thanks very much. (I had called Canon on this, they missed this, I was told to pull the internal battery, which I haven't done yet). I'll give them a call to make sure they add that to their script. They were quite responsive, I'll give them credit for that.

Had a shoot 1st thing this morning to follow a VIP all weekend. Glad to have this body still in tip top shape.

Cheers!

Jim

I didn't know about the images remaining thing, but I avoid 9999 like the plague since it has messed up flash cards (temporarily) when I go over that number and I have read others with same problem. Don't actual know if they have fixed that one yet.

I usually reset my file numbering somewhere around 7000 images just to avoid problems with 9999 cropping up at unwanted times.
