I forgot all about this:

Local camera shop is hosting this workshop, today & tomorrow

Being sponsored by Tamron, they suggest you to leave your lenses at home, because they will have a whole host of Tamron lenses to use.

Should I bring my lenses anyway? I sold my only Tamron (28-75), and I don't have any intentions on buying another.

I have never been at an event like this. What should I expect?

I paid for this workshop several weeks ago, to force myself to shoot something other than my Daughter, so I figured I should go.

Planning on going to one in OKC.

I'd take my lenses and keep 'em in the trunk. If you need 'em you'll have 'em. And if you don't want to shoot with theirs, shoot with your own.

I hope you have a ball and it's worthwhile - I'm hoping miine is!

I went on a Tamron sponsored workshop at my local zoo, and I was not told to leave my lenses, that seems silly. Sure, you can rent them, but there's going to be a lot of people, and probably not that many lenses, especially popular ones. I'd say definitely bring your lenses.
