Just shot a wedding in Dominican Republic for a freind. Got lots of shots but was wondering how many does the average "wedding album" consistive of? I was going to give her all the shots on disk but I wanted to make up a nice book with the best shots as a present. How many shots should I include? 25? 50? 300? Any ideas? Maybe two albums worth?

Regards,

Joel

I initially offer about 60. Many books are a minimum of 20 sides, and I average about 3 pictures per page. This is for a digital album. If it were a matted album, then it would just depend on what mats you use.

That's a nice present, I guess it depends on how much $ you want to spend. at Candid2000 you can get an 8x10 book with prints shipped for around $300 (us).

oh yeah.............and to answer your question I offer 40 8x10's, but I'm new and I'm trying to keep albums simple for now

I usually recommend 1.5 - 2.5 pictures per side, on average. There's no normal number of pages, i've done albums that are 7 pages and books that are 60 pages.
