WOW. ive never ever sweated as much as i did today. All in all, i think i did tremendously good, it wasnt hard at all once i got over my near freak out early on in the church (i left my spot, went over to my buddy and said "Dude, im ****ing up" and he goes "here take this" and hands me a 28-135mm (i was using the 15mm fish at this point) and from then on, i was on fire).

The group family photos didnt come out very well, but they insisted on having the water behind them at the waterfront, and so we were shooting into the sun, and there were some bad shadows, the but the shots of the reception were truly amazing. I should have some up in a few days, i got a whole lot to work through. Definatelty an interesting and amazing experience. Also, i found some good info in this forum, so thanks to anyone who posted anything that helped me.

it was the singer of one of the bands i shoot, his now-wife asked me to do the photos, and i asked my friend nick to help me, and while neither of us is technically pro we are proficient with a camera. we both had 20d's today, his with a 420ex speedllite mine with a 430ex speedlite, and i switched between a 15mm fisheye and a 70-300mm IS USM for the most part, and he used a 28-135 IS USM for the most part, but we did switch here and there.

Pics are coming. dude, i got home, seriously, an hour and a half ago, around 1130, and we got to the brides house at 230. i need to smoke many more cigarettes, and get some sleep before i start workin on these photos.

Well i got an external hard drive for my laptop, and i save anything i edit as a psd anyway, i never ever overwrite the original jpeg.

and yea, i survived, it was a lot of fun really, ive never even been to a wedding before today, so it was pretty cool, and it was great to see a friend of mine marrying a girl he really loves. aww. at least i got some time to work on these things tho, i shot 610 photos today. thats no joke. i think my friend shot 300-400.
