These guys were all over the place at the Oasis of Mara in Twenty Nine Palms this past weekend. He was doing "push-ups" at the time. With those fancy colors he's looking for a girl friend.

Hi Paul, great shots of the Desert species. I have been spined by that species. They will dig the side of their neck into your hand. I had just posted the other three species of Sceloporus yesterday and didn't notice your post.

Man, this is one cool looking desert lizard. Slightly different from the Texas cousin. Nice job capturing it Paul. Love the colors.
