Not so many young so far this year. I think maybe they have moved some of the older females on, and kept the younger ones.

SLWAP is South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria UK.
Its only a small zoo, but you can get close to the animals. The ring tail Lemurs have the run of the park and are not caged off from the visitors, its the same with the various ruff lemurs, emus, kangaroos etc.
Even some of the animals that are caged make a break for freedom, a Mandrill got out on Friday, it took a lot of shouting and a hose pipe to get it back in.
You can get inches away from the young Lemurs, but they move like the wind making it hard to get decent shots.

Great shots. It must be very common that these animals rome around freely. In Copenhagen zoo they do spend most time in their enclosure but they do get to come out of the enclosure.

Such cute little fellows. I'd kill to be able to get shots like this. Well done!

No, with my 70-300 DO. It is a lens I do not use all that often, as I think the quality is not as good as my L's. But carrying around the 1D with 70-200 L and the 20D with the 100-400 L is hard work, so I thought I would give the DO a go, and the results were better than expected.
