Iris, Iris Everywhere!

I went to an Iris field this morning. Here are a couple of shots I came up with.

Never seen that many irisses in one place, nice.

On the first image the color looks a bit off, the leaves of the irisses are to yellow. The colr looks better on the second shot.

I see what you mean. I'm not sure why they are so yellow looking. Same lens, same everything. I'll play around with it and see what I can do.

Thanks Dimitri. DOF was definitely the effect I was going for.

I think I'm going to head back there this evening when the light is good to try some more.

Really like the composition of the first, should be interesting to try at lower sunlight.

id like to see this place in about 3 days, I bet it will be amazing!

Paul A, I went back tonight and tried again. I'm still not 100% happy with it, but I think it's an improvement. What do you think?

I like this one a lot better than the first one. Easier on the eyes, color is better and it's in focus all the way from the front. You also get an even better idea ofhow bigthe field is
