Good shooting.
Interesting that McRae is peddling a 1980's car against all wheel drive competition. The older cars drive more spectacularly do you think?

Thanks for your comment:D . Sorry, should have stated that McRae was competing in a the National Rally and the others were in the International Rally. The rear wheel spinners are definitely more fun to watch than the AWD vehicles IMO.:)

Nicely done Kev.

I like the Suzuki and the shot of McCrash in he 'Scort best :) Post a few more when you sort them out ;)

Meanwhile i'm off to bed...5am start for the BTCC @ Oulton. I must be mad.

Nice varied set Kev, and all very nice shots. Some good choices of locations to get such clean backgrounds, particularly on an event like the Pirelli. Colours look spot on too, and shutter speeds have retained whell blur - all in all looks like an excellent days work.

Once you get used to it, and particularly if you use something like RSE, RAW conversion doesn't really take that much longer. The results IMHO are always worth the effort.

Cheers,

Simon.

Thanks for the comments Geoff and Simon:D. Was quite lucky to find a quiet spot for the rally with only a handfull of other people there. The pictures posted were all taken with a 2x tc on my Sigma 70-200mm lens, so i'm pretty pleased with the results as they are quite sharp at full size. I used Digital Photo Pro to convert these and I will give RSE 2006 a try as it came on the cover disc with Digital Photo Mag this month.

great shots.. I"m really surprised that nicky grist will still get in a car w/ colin after all these years. I can't wait until WRC Deutschland again this year so I can do some shooting.
