I have zoombrowser 5.0 installed, but somehow the Canon Zoombrowser EX.msi file, needed for uninstalling, is gone. I bought a 5D and a newer version was supplied, but it need to uninstall the old to install the new.

I've tried many things including: uninstall program of ZB, windows control panel, install original v4.6 of ZB, re-install v5.0, copy other ZB....msi files and rename to the required - all with no sucess.

Any suggestions? or someone with v5.0 want to email me this file:
Canon Zoombrowser EX.msi ?

I know there'll probably be people saying to don't use zoombrowser, but it's included and it does well to look through many images at once, plus downloading images off my card reader.
Thanks.

I have an indentical problem. I have versions 5.0 and 5.7 on my PC. Everytime I open the programme I get a message to insert the CD. After cancelling the message a couple of times, the programme opens OK. I have tried to uninstall the programme both from the programme unistall and from the Windows XP control panel with no success. It appears that 'canon zoombrowser ex.msi' is missing from the registry. How can I correct the problem?

The latest version is 5.8. Go to Canon's site and download the update. I would think that would correct the missing registry items.
