As anyone who gets to see these guys in action will tell you, they may be smaller than grey squirrels but they are much more aggressive and smarter. This one is hanging on to the beak of a garden sculpture.

But squirrels are territorial and this is fox squirrel country. So the reds disappeared rather suddenly and I think the much larger fox squirrels chased themn away. Too bad. They were fun to watch.
