I went back this evening and tried a few more captures of these beautiful flowers.
What do you think?

I am no expert, so can't help on what to do there, except maybe a polariser or something to difuse the light more evenly?? Tina

May 14, 2006 21:39 | #5 Thanks for the feedback. I did shoot these in raw (as I do everything). I tried to bring the whites back, but this is the best I could do. I'm not very skilled with PP yet.

I shot this with my Tamron 28-75 which is usually dead on with the focus. Thanks for taking the time to comment everyone. The Tamron?

Sorry for slow hosting.

I only selected the overexposed (IMO)part of the flower with the magic wand (tolerance 32, contiguous area, single click in the white area) and then I made a litle adjustment with curves (Image, Adjustment, Curves). I just changed the main curve from a straight 45 degree line to a little concave curve. Ask if you want more details!
