I have Lily of the Nile in my yard ... they are tough to shoot w/out a tripod ... even then the spacing of the flowers makes it a tough shot to get them the way your mind sees them.

And what a lovely blue it is Bob,nice one mate.

Thanks for the comments. I liked the blue and the way the accents went. The two blues harmonized it seemed like to me.

This is a part of a project I am doing for the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. It is the Central Park for us. Almost in the middle of town there is this huge park just like in New York!

My brother and I are doing a dvd that will be sold at the gift shop. I have posted a few others that were taken out there this weekend. It will take me a week or so to get the dvd produced.

On this picture the softness doesn't bother me, but it was unintentional for sure.

Here is a picture that is a try at "hyperocal". It was hand held, so they are not perfect. 2 exposures layered together. one focused near and the other focused on the back blossom.

And the lighting was extreme! Harsh beyond words. ...Bob
