I have Lily of the Nile in my yard ... they are tough to shoot w/out a tripod ... even then the spacing of the flowers makes it a tough shot to get them the way your mind sees them.

Thanks for the comments. I liked the blue and the way the accents went. The two blues harmonized it seemed like to me.

This is a part of a project I am doing for the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. It is the Central Park for us. Almost in the middle of town there is this huge park just like in New York! :)

My brother and I are doing a dvd that will be sold at the gift shop. I have posted a few others that were taken out there this weekend. It will take me a week or so to get the dvd produced.

On this picture the softness doesn't bother me, but it was unintentional for sure.

Here is a picture that is a try at "hyperocal". It was hand held, so they are not perfect. 2 exposures layered together. one focused near and the other focused on the back blossom.

I think I may have waited too late in the season for this type of photography. Lots of bugs anyway. Can you spot the ants?
