I was playing around with my Sigma 70-200 2.8 with (Kenko) extension tubes the other day and captured these shots. This is the first time I've really experimented with the extension tubes; So far I really like the range of zoom and DOF I get with the 70-200.

I like the strange texture in this picture, but am not sure what it's from. EXIF indicates I took it at 1/640, so it probably isn't motion blur.

The first shot is perfect, the second shot probably suffers from camera shake (unless you used a tripod) and the third shot would be perfect with a great dof (higher f-stop).

Some real nice shots, beautiful for the first one.:D The second shot, you may have backed away or came forward ever so slightly when you shot this one. Were you using a tripod or hand held? When using high magnifications or magnification of any kind for that matter in doing macro, a steady hand or a tripod (recommended) is a must. Digital cameras key in on any kind of motion extremely well.;) The last shot, pretty good here now.:D Lots of detail even though it does appear a little soft. Again using a tripod for shots like this is recommended. If you were using a tripod, then I don't know. Mirror shock maybe?

I particularly like the first shot of the Bleeding hearts, the way the light is diffused through them. Nicely exposed and detailed image.
