mystery in the bluebell woods

a few days ago I was in the bluebell woods
(which are near Kilkenny)

every year at this time the woods are magical with their carpet of bluebells
fresh bright green leaves are all around and above, hanging from branches which jut out of the very tall dark tree trunks
even looking up is magical

hope the painting effect of the scene does not spoil anything of what it was in reality

I love the first one Marie, but I think I would like to see the original photo too. It looks like a very pretty woodland scene.

Marie, those are gorgeous. I love the way the sun hits the fallen tree in the first one. Pity the weather's not always like that here!

I`ll settle for the first one marie,it really does look like a painting,and i bet it looks as good as the real thing.

it was dull that day too but I was hoping the sun would peep through the trees,even for a second
and it did

it's not too bad, thank you Dimitry
but at times (as you well know) it's really hard to capture the (bigger) scene

has to be seen to really appreciate how overwhelming it can be on first sight

Absolutely spectacular! The bluebells do give somewhat of a magical feelings. The painting effect in the first series portrays the images nicely.
