Well it was the 1st round of the BRC at the weekend and the first running of the event without the WRC Cars:cry: think I'll reserve judgement for the time being;) The weather didn't help either, after a fantastic week I was met with cold grey skies when arriving at Rally HQ on Friday and again early on Saturday morning in Kielder forest and apart from some sunny intervals that is the way it stayed all weekend

The Suburu and the Evo in the mudsplash do it for me Ian - but great to see Colin and Nicky go Retro!

Very, very nice Ian. The Mark Higgins watersplash is superb, absolutely top drawer.

Cheers,

Simon.

Great photos Ian - the last three are excellent - all very good though and love to see MkII escorts in action.

Great shots Ian:) I went on saturday in the Bower area. The Mk2's were great. There was huge dissapointment for a moment when McRae stalled it on his way through as everyone wanted to see him in action and then when he got it up and running there was cheers.
Were the water splash pics took at P-Zero stage?

Hi Kev
The first 3 were taken on the Bower stage at j6, the McRae shot was from the afternoon. In the morning a large crowd had walked up from the road (about 2/3 of a mile uphill) and when it came over the radio that McRae had gone out at j4 they all left:rolleyes:. When he came through in the afternoon, I was the only one at the junction, don't know why Nicky Grist is looking at me though. The watersplash ones were from P-Zero, I made a flying visit on Sunday afternoon to catch the internationals through.

This kept buzzing the P-Zero stage all afternoon

Really nice shots Ian. Have to agree the Evo and the Sube in the water splash are my favourites.

Great Shots - wish I had a water shot like that one of Higgins! Pics 1 and 3 look a bit oversaturated but thats being very picky! Let me know what you think of my pics :) https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=170713

Excellent shots Ian, I still think you can't beat the mk11's going sideways.
