A coffee run for the marshalls on a very cold wet (+ large hail) day for the Britcars at Oulton, definatly a hardy bunch of people. :)

Great thread. Marshalls are the life blood of the sport. Its only a small thing, but I do always wave and 'thumbs-up' where possible.

The driver and more impotantly the spectators were very lucky in this accident. The race car went off and flipped in the air and hit the very top of the fence, landing as seen in the shot. The marshals were very quick in response

Here are some of mine from the last couple of years. A lot of these guys/gals are more than just people in orange to me, they are friends. You can't put a value on what they do for motorsport, it is priceless.

Heh, i'm one of those that frequent circuits dressed as a tangerine, and know this thread is much appreciated :D As i marshal most of the time i don't get to take photos as often as i used to, be here's one i can't avoid sharing.

It's one of our marshals at Oulton, who tried a U-turn behind Lodge and got stuck in the mud. I couldn't resist capturing the moment...

Good thread, these guys/gals definitely deserve applause for making it all possible and keeping it as safe as can be. It's also good to be friendly with them as a photographer so they help you and allow you to stand in good spots.

It's good to be friendly with them as drivers, too! Always buy them beer after the race. (It keeps the iffy complaints about metal-to-metal down) :D
