Hi. I am new to this forum so I hope I am doing this correctly. I am shooting a Wedding on Saturday. I have done 5 Weddings already. I normally use a Britek Pro 750 to take the formal pics in the church prior to and after the ceremony. During a shoot last week this light went awry and I sent it to be repaired in another state. It was shipped to get there next day....well it got lost during shipping and still hasn't been found. So out of sheer panic I purchased 2 1000watt continuous lights with 32"x32" softboxes. These lights have color temp of 3200. I have never shot with continuous lighting. Are these even appropriate for wedding photography? I also have a Britek pro 300 and a 550ex speedlite. I shoot mainly with a Canon EOS 10D and Digital rebel. I am thinking about purchasing the 580ex too. I mainly shoot with a 28-135 mm lens. There is no flash use during ceremony. Any suggestions on what to put the aperture/shutter speed on? I plan on going to rehearsal the night before for test shots. Any help is appreciated.

In your place i'd use a 20D and an F2.8 lens and forget the flash, or an F1.4 lens if I needed more light. You'll probably be on high ISO, the 20D is much better than the 10D for that. The 28-135 lens is pretty slow (aperture wise).

Continuous and studio lighting has a limited role in wedding photography, I usually don't have time to set all that stuff up. If you must shoot with continuous shoot RAW, and use the tungsten white ballance, and you'll probably need high ISO.
