More graffiti from Toronto... this wall of urban art was too big to capture in one shot even at 17mm, so I had to take 3 shots and stitch them together. I think it turned out ok considering I didn't use any photo stitching software (none that I tried even came close... PSCS2 included).

By the way, this is the same wall of graffit as this photo.

C&C Welcome.

I just googled this... apparantly it's a "legal wall" where graffiti artists are allowed to show off their talent without vandalizing someone else's property. As such, the wall is constantly painted and re-painted. Since I've never noticed this wall before (and it's quite obvious from the subway) I'd have to say this is pretty recent, and probably one of the better displays. Of course, I could just be oblivious...

Man, this is an excellent work of street art. I agree that the grafitti is really clean, especially when compared to the ones here at NYC, which almost always have a gritty feel. This one looks like it was painted on a clean canvas sheet. Great work on joining the pics, I do that too when the artwork is quite long. Did you use the gutter as a baseline and shoot perpendicularly to the wall each time?

this is awesome! When I was in high school there was a kid that did beautiful work like this and some businesses around town paid him to go do graffiti on their buildings. Mostly pictures and characters, but they were still awesome.

Excellent photo! TFS

The wife (artist) and I were just discussing the talent required for this type of work. Pretty amazing photo and artwork. I like the idea of a 'legal' wall for it too. I've often wondered why there wasn't a place for this type of work to be displayed but I guess it's more involved than that.

Anyway, nice capture and stitch. Good color.
