I know this flies (no pun intended) in the face of the Rule of Thirds, but centered was the only way thins looked right. Click for a full-sized version.

Great capture. What a fuzzy little bee. I really like the colour and texture the garage door brings to the picture.

Haha, I'm more logic-oriented than art-oriented (trying desperately to even them out nowadays), so I tend to agree, asymmetry is just no good. But of course, it is sometimes.

As for the bee itself, looking back I'm shocked at the detail in the full size image. There's some good fuzz and wing detail and it's a Kodax DX7630. I wish I had my 350D back then. The house we were in always had great stuff in the back (Portland, MI is a good ways away from anything resembling a largeish town).
