the key is to get right against the glas and make sure that it is clean on both sides. I have 1200 watts of metal halide lighting so I didn't need any flash...

Beautiful Shots! I keep freshwater (Cichlids) and have 58 tanks set up right now. Love to shoot the fish. Look forward to seeing more from you!

Hi Blair, I kept /bred cichlids for years. I had both african and south americans.. I also owned a pet shop that specialized in fresh /marine fish for a few years... I am down to a couple of marine tanks right now, but getting the urge to set up an african ntank again..

I keep both also. My largest tanks are 150s. I have 1 with africans and 2 with centrals. all the other tanks are 125 on down to 55 and are breeder tanks, mostly african. My wife gets mad at me because I'll spend hours infront of them just taking pics.....LOL

I used to breed Frontosa's and Buttikoferi until I got tired of getting bitten every time I reched in the tank.. Then I switched to the more mild mannered Tanganyikan's... I think those are my favorites... Lets see some of your pics....
