He was none to thrilled that I interupted his suntanning and made sure I was aware of it. These from about 2m away.

wow all of these are great,but 2 and 3 really get my vote. 2 meters isnt far enough away for me

Number 2 is fantastic. Very lovely. I'd have turned and ran, leaving nothing but a cloud of dust. I can't do snakes. Too afraid of getting hurt. :p

Awsome shots. 2 and 3 have my vote here. Bet you wish you had a longer reaching lens to keep more distance. At least I would want a longer lens!

Great shots Bryan, brilliant. I went trooping around the hill north of Bow Island the other day looking for one and couldn't turn up any. Where did you find this one.


My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I found this guy North of Medicine Hat but still along the south Sask river Sheldon. I hadn't seen any this spring until yesterday when the weather got hot. I saw two Bull snakes yesterday and this fellow today.
