Well next saturday I have my first outdoor wedding to shoot. The ceremony will start at 5pm so luckily the sun wont be at its highest point anymore.

Anyway, I know it all depends on the day, if it is overcast or not on the day and the area, but just for an average.. what ISO do you use outdoors? Should I go down to 100?

Also I was asked to not move around during the ceremony, if possible to stay in the center of the aisle. This will limit my angles A LOT! So, to at least be able to change things up a little bit I would like to use my 18-55mm lens on one body and my 70-300 on the other body , but those a kit lenses.

With it being oudoors and garantee that there wont be a low light issue, that shouldnt be a problem, should it?

Any additional advice for outdoor wedding is greatly appreciated

I would not stress too much on being in the center aisle, just get high and low angles. You can still get gret shots from the back, if it's along aisle you can use your 75-300. good lcuk with everything.

If they don't want you to move around, then they probably don't want the wedding disturbed for them or the guests. So grab your zoom and strike a deal. If you stay on the outskirts and don't use a flash too much they should let you move around more. With a 300 you can get the closeups while staying far enough away to not get in people's way. But scout out other locations in case of rain. I have never been to an outdoor wedding that hasn't rain out. And I have been to quite a few outdoor weddings.

Use ISO100 unless you have a good reason not too. Make sure your shutter speed stays high enough. With your slow lenses use a tripod. Lay on the floor for some shots.

If people say "don't move around" tell them the photos will be average, and accept their decision. There's not really any other choice.

Tim, why a tripod for the lenses? Am I wrong to think that the tripod is good when I need to use a slow shutter speed to avoid shake? But outside I will not have any slow shutterspeeds most likely?

Good point, you probably won't need one outside on a nice day. Remember to use fill flash, experiment beforehand to work out for yourself if you need FEC=-2, FEC=0, or FEC=+2.
