I have Adobe PhotoShop 6.0 on my PC. This application was already loaded on the PC when I received it so no manual is available. I play around in it with some G2 pics that I don't care about, trying to learn how and what it can do. My question is does anyone know of any websites that I can refer to or learn from when using Photoshop? I prefer websites to book form if possible. The program sounds like it's very powerful and I would love to be able to start manipulating photos.

Thanks,
Reggie

There are hundreds. Do a search on Photoshop and lessons. Tons of stuff out there for novice and advanced user.
If you have specific questions you can find answers on various forums, like this. Be specific though and if possible post the picture with the question.

I think that "Instant Photoshop" is excellent:
http://luminous-landscape.com …s/instant_photoshop.shtml (external link)

A good start will be learning about "Levels" and "Unsharp Mask filter". You can improve the photographs significantly by using only those two tools (and may be some cropping).

Also, you have to learn about "Layers", because it's how photoshop is supposed to be used.

For more advanced photoshoping you need to learn various selection tools: "Laso", "Magic Wand", "Color Range"; how to use "Clonning" tool; masking.
