They come in many differnet colors and sizes. They are my one of my favs.

Now that is a different flower. Nice captures of the flower and DOF. If you know do they grow naturally in the gardens in the Northeast or only greenhouses?

Nice shots pup. The purples in the flower look great. We've got these growing all over our back fence. I snapped a couple of shots a while ago (I posted them here if you're interested) but they weren't nearly as vibrant as yours.

wizard, they are tropical so they will not survive the winters up here (in northern NJ). You'd have to keep the plant a warm greenhouse for any chances of winter survival. They are sold as summer annuals/tropicals here.

Oddly enough I found some of these in the weeded up flower beds where I work. Never have they been there before this year and I was wondering what they were.
