Awesome stuff man. Just do us all a favor and don't pull a "grizzly man."

Stay safe.

lol yeah.. my x girlfriend's dad tranes bears and other wild animals.. and i allways tell her that they are just that WILD, and in a split second they snap... she sais no, no they dont.. bla bla..
anyway yeah.. i dont like to be too close to grizleys, these are 100% crop at 400mm with my 300d, so there is that 1.6 crop factor too...

Wow, that's excellent, I wish I could see wild Grizzly's... the most lethal creature in Britian is, I believe, the badger

Also, hope you don't mind, I did a bit of PS editing on your pic. I've just started PS and am getting my hands on any editable material to try new things :)

If this is not kosher, let me know and I'll delete the pic :)

Nice experience to see and photograph one of these in their natural environment. Nice to have a body of water between you and the Grizzly as well but the shots look good even at a distance, The first shot in particular...very nice!

Wow, what an amazing experience for you.

I definitely like the edit. I was going to suggest you might want to dial down the exposure just a tad and bump up the contrast and saturation.

Don't get too close to these awesome animals!

Awesome captures, but they do need a little more contrast. The one edited looks better.

Beautiful shots. I'd give up a good portion of my pay to have the opportunity to see things like this! I think I would be glad to have the lake between me and the bear, though! I read a book called "Night of the Grizzlies" about grizzly attacks in Glacier. Very scary!
