nice photos. I hate spiders, but the detail of the hairy legs etc is excellent. the butterfly out of its cocoon though gets my vote. Lovely shot.

Are there many butterflies out and about at the moment??

Yes John I used Ring Flash and there are thousands of butterflies around at the moment.:):):):):):):)

Great shots John.
The big eye on the butterflies wing get's my attention straight away, so does the third shot, it is a very interesting shot.

Love the butterfly out of its crystalis. The contrasts between the new, old and hatched is great. Was this naturally placed in a row or had someone mated and placed them there, if you know?
