Yet another beautiful photo-painting Marie. the road does look very slippery. It's a very lovely country lane. Is that a hedge row or a wall?

just a wonderful effect.:D

Nice scene. Not sure what I think of the painting effect....but I like the subject and composition. The white sky is a little distracting. I think I would like a subtle color there.

nice shot.

I really enjoy the effect. Adds a serene quality to the picture. Looks like good composition too from my limited knowledge. Nice job.

Marie, I'm really loving these shots you're doing. Care to share your technique?

They're really lovely. The colors in this one are spectacular!

Turnerzdad

:lol::o

oops
sorry Sandy
just saw this now when I checked had the post delivered safely onto the forum
(as I was going to bed)

yes, that's a hedge. that lane is not far away
(from where I am now)
I was cycling  (slippery) and stopped when they passed me ...wondering would I have the shot in time before they went from sight

the wooden fences are put up first and that supports the new hedge
after it grows the fence cannot be seen but it was beautiful to start with
looks very neat everywhere.
:D

thanks again

Interesting technique. Nice loght and color and the water color feel to this shot is quite nice. Curious why you did not leave the sky a pale blue like in the original shot.

thanks Gary
it just happened that way . I didn't do it intentionally
the sky is a little washed out anyway
there is not a lot of control with some pictures using that method

I know the road is more blue then the sky but .....as it's more or less a 'painting' effect I thought it looked fairly ok
letting the imagination run rife
:)

Mikelangelo.....

sorry I missed answering this last night
I left the sky like that as it worked out that way
the 'grey' skies never bother me
but I know what you both mean
many thanks
