Keeping with the same topic as my other post - here is the groom reaching for the rings during the ceremony. Zoomed in at 300mm with canon 75-300 III USM.

I have some trouble with the composition, it works for me, but I am uncertian if the rings are too centred here and if that might detract from the shot? Of course the rule of 3rds is only a guideline...

Other comments welcome too. Will add some more pictures from my first wedding later in this thread.

I like it. I know that your angles are limited during the ceremony, specially if it comes to fast happening things like this.
A better angle to me would have been more to the right and a little from above, but like I said its hard to do this during the actual ceremony where you need to consider gues sitting where you might need to stand and you dont want to be in everyones face.

I like it, but I feel it could be improved by some post processing. At least run levels on it to make the darks darker.

I had a little play too, remember this is my 30 second effort.

the black and white tone in the hand looks alil unnatural because its too dark..
i think if you lighten up the hands it would look alot better.. and natural...

Yeah I know, I noticed that after I posted, but I don't have time to do it again. Is easy enough to do though.

I really like the one on the left, but not sure I like the processing. Try higher contrast, and use the channel mixer to convert to B&W before you apply the sepia shade.
