Well, the weather was ideal for submarines, not for cars. The racing at Anglesey was abandoned at 2:30pm, after just over 4 hours of the worst wet conditions I have ever seen at a UK race circuit. I have posted some samples of how the short day went.

This is my last posting of images for a couple of reasons. The first is that it is now getting silly with so many posts of the same events and I have more profitable things to do with my time. Secondly, I have had to change over to a PJ style of photography, which no longer suits this forum, but is necessary for a lot of what I am doing this year. I'll no doubt pop in when time permits to make the odd annoying comment.

This was before it got really bad:

The Porsche boys gave it their all and even managed the odd agressive overtake:

A lot of Legends and a lot of water - very good race despite the conditions:

The last attempt at a race, the Formula Fords. It was decided to call it a day as it was simply too dangerous:

Brilliant shots as ever, looks like carnage there.

Am sorry to hear that you are off Ken, thanks for some very useful tips (if albeit without knowing you had given me them) in the past couple of months. Would like to echo Gary's sentiments re re-considering.

I look forward to those odd annoying comments. ;)

And certainly share a shot from time to time of anything exciting. Good luck for your new ventures into PJ style.

Some more great shots shared here. :)

Man's only stab at immortality is to pass on his knowledge. I'd like to see your shots continue here...

people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional
