So I just got my camera the other day and finally got out to take some shots to see how it did. I'd like some comments on a few as you all find time.

The first is a flower which I was trying to take a psuedo-macro shot of (for another forum, actually). The original shot was MUCH warmer and had bad contrast in my eyes. This makes it look a bit more natural, but the whiteness of the flower makes it look a bit blown out.

The second shot was just trying to contrast the tree to the sky and the cloud snuck in as I was taking snaps from different angles. I liked it so that's the one I kept.

What is good about each? What is bad? Thanks!
