Byte size: ZERO | Content warning: NOT AN IMAGE

First picture with my new 85 1.8 of our lab Buster. Taking pictures of him over the years has been a challenge. Sunlight coming through the window is from behind the camera through blinds. The new lense was able to capture a fair amount of detail not usually gotten with my zoom. The nose is OOF on purpose to see what DOF this lense can produce.

Does anyone have comments or suggestions for improvement?

Thanks in advance...

Jon

What a sweet face! No suggestions, but I love the picture! Labs are the best!

Is he crossed with a St Bernard or a Mastiff? Maybe a Bernese Mt Dog?

He's beautiful!

He's a lab, but not like the American standard. He's got more of a block head and weighs near 100#... Great temperment and poses for the camera all the time.
