I went and picked up a 20D this evening. My Brother is buying my rebel, and after selling a couple things here, I didn't have to spend any $$$ out of my pocket!

Wow! What a great camera. I'll be living with the manual for a few days, but I've already fell in love with it.

New gear really feels good when it didnt cost you any 'out of pocket' dollars. Enjoy the 20D, its a great camera.

No shots yet. I dropped off my daughter at her practice last night, ran down and got this, then went and picked her up and went home. I ran off a few shots while she was practicing, but mainly was just scouring the manual and learning how it all worked.

If the kids will let us, I'll be shooting some portraits of my wife tonight.

Congrats, I just upgraded to a 20D last week from a 300D as well. I sold my rebel, 50 1.8, 512CF and a small bag to a friend of mine for $550 and found a used 20D at B&H for $799(9+ condition). Not a bad deal, considering they are still going for more on Ebay.

I was working a little with the predictive focus last night in a very dark skating rink. WOW what a difference. I was having a lot of difficulty getting any decent shots with the 300D in the same setting last week. This unit just took care of business right away! The bigger test will be tomorrow evening when my son practices his speed skating. It's at an even darker rink and they are moving very fast!
