Don't regret buying what you bought.
I have also purchased things and along came the new model a month later!
I finally sat back and had a good think about my situation and realized there is never a good time to buy because the speed of technology will always leave us asking why didn't I wait a little longer?
I waited 2 years before one day the Editor of one of the magazines I work for said to me the 3rd time, you are the last one using tranny film.
So I eventually lashed out and ended up with my 20D.
I waited 2 years to make my mind up.
Man, am I behind the 8 ball. I need to relearn a few things but in general I am behind 2 years in learning digital. I have had pics published in many mags with my AE1 program, EOS 500, EOS 5, A2, and20D, Its all good and it works so be happy you have a Canon to get you by!!!!!! 25 years of using Canon! Yes you picked a good camera without a doubt !!!!!!
