Hello,
I was attempting to search the "Sell" forum on the query: 2.8

I tried it using topics only and full text...with the same outcome: "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different search terms."

Am I doing something wrong? I am browsing using a Windows XP machine, and it happens in both IE and Firefox.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

No - but there's a limit to how small a "word" we can set the system up to not ignore. Pekka's added many common photo-specific abbreviations to the search strings that aren't ignored, but there are just too many possible letter-number combinations that might be of interest for us to catch them all. You might consider searching for "lens", "EF" or other, slightly broader term and manually narrowing things down. Anything much over 2 weeks old in there's probably only of historical interest anyhow.
