That is an outstanding shot. I'd certainly be thinking about getting that one enlarged and framed if I were you.

My terrier was never afraid of thunder, fireworks, etc. until one 4th of July when I stupidly took him out for a short walk when my neighbors were playing with fireworks. Since then, he's been terrified of thunder and fireworks. In fact, the thunder fear has generalized to the point where he'll start shaking and looking for a place to hide whenever it rains!

Thanks, Alex. That's a good idea...I might just make a print of this shot and hang it.

Thanks, Trent. Yes, I shoot my black and whites in colour then convert and process in black and white. Each photo is processed differently depending on the nature of the light. In this case, not too much processing was is involved.

That's a great shot. Diesel thinks that the end of the world is coming when it thunders - he barks and his eyes got really wide.

Definately needs a place on the wall, it's just beautiful.

My dog doesn't notice fireworks one bit, won't even lift his head for a moment. He also has no earthquake radar and sleeps right through them, which is no help living in San Francisco.

He doesn't bat an eye if a crazy lunatic (we have quite a few in SF) starts sceaming obscenities at me.

Yet the sound of a hockey game on tv sends him running for the bedroom, under the covers.
