I have some dust in the viewfinder. It's not a huge deal, the pictures aren't affeted, but for future reference is there anything I can do on my own? And if not who do I send it to? Directly to Canon?

Hold the camera facing you. Tilt the bottom of the camera towards you and look at the inside top of the camera. That's the focus screen. It's a white opaque plate with the focus points etched on it.
