am I really the only artist here.?...wow. I do murals ( a lot of baby rooms) and faux finishes. I do some custom peices for people. Mostly fun stuff for kids rooms. I haven't actually done any 'real' portraits in a looooong time. I got into photography thinking it was just another creative outlet. I seem to spend more time in photoshop now than actually painting, sketching or drawing!

Greetings
I am a clinical psychologist who has just cut back on my work load (gettin older):) . For awhile before I cut back I saved so I could buy some equipment and spend more time doing what I love-taking pictures. Learning from you'al and really loving it. A beginner moving up from point and shoot cameras. So much to learn but really enjoying P.O.T.N. MJM

I am another member of this police forum.:) My profession is law enforcement (although the job discription has changed several times) and photography is one of my hobbies.

Professor of Chemistry. I have a PhD in Physiological Biochemistry from Columbia. I have always liked to take photos, but I am not sure if I would want to be a professional photographer. It would be too much like a job then and I really would rather play than work.

Have at it! I wouldn't want to do anything else... other than photography, I suppose!
