Yes, I generally get about 5 guys and we all go into the most enclosed space we can find. Then we light up several cigars apiece, take the lens off the camera, and blow the smoke directly into the camera body. You can also use it as an ashtray, but you have to dump it out and clean the sensor afterwards or you'll get spots on your pictures.

It's outside in a garden, with a slight breeze blowing...but thanks for the concern. The content of your message may have been useful, but your delivery sucked.

Ahahhaha.... audible silence got owned!!!! bw!

LMAO!!!! I always wondered why some people always feel the need to enlighten others when they don't ask for it.

Good that i am a non-smoker forever, but too bad my dad is smoking and many of my friends, but i always be away from them when they smoke, lucky that all my equipments and computer are safe from smokes, but they are always in risk of our country weather of heat and humidity and dust.

If you smoke alot and have your camera equipment and lens sitting close by over time(years) it can ruin your equipment.

I also do computer amd some electronic repair and you should see when get in for service a desktop or a laptop and take it apart for service we know right away if the owners are smokers.

Inside the unit is coated with nicotine. looks yellow tar like.

Open up your pc and look inside.

Yes but that yellow tar is a well known preservative and sealant...

I joke...

Getting this lens tomorrow on hire for a week and very excited.

Ya, I wonder about the smoke sometimes when on a fire line or bombing range. Sometimes the heat is a bigger factor

I have to agree with you. I mean it's like smoking is a huge crime or something. It's their choice besides smoking isn't half as bad as drinking at least people don't get rude or violent when they are smoking.

Anyway back to the topic...

I was shooting these Halloween scarecrows with the 300 and decided to see how close the 24-70 could get. These shots were handheld with the 300 braced against a tree, 24-70 true handheld. Lighting changed a bit between the two shoots. I included the data on each.
I am really impressed with the 24-70 so far :)

Proud new father. Had a 28-75 and always read about how well the 28-75 compared to this lens...not. even. close. I mean dang. Now to find a duck if they have not all flown away. My 24-105 didn't even touch this thing. Wow. Back to pictures.
