If i am shooting up to f4, the primes take over the work. Besides from that, the lens is fantastic! I'm MARLON

I'll never hesitate to recommend this lens to anyone.I am considering this lens to compliment my 16-35mm and 70-200mm. Canon EOS 6D, EOS 80D

I own EF 50mm f/1.4 and I am using 50d, so the gap is actually 56-112. Do you find it useful on crop? Are the colours similar to EF 16-35mm f/2.8L or better, more like EF 70-200mm f/2.8L? Thanks in advance for the advice! I own the 50D and the Canon 50mm f/1.4 as well. Over the past 9 months, the 50mm lens has been my go-to lens (before Oct. I was using the 50mm f/1.8 ). With that said, I purchased the 24-70 several weeks ago and its image quality, versatility, and build (read: focusing) have kept my 50mm in the bag. Furthermore, the focal length has not been a bother on the APS-C sensor, yet. But then again, I'm not a dedicated landscape photographer, and I do intend to change to a FF sensor within a year. I think, given your other lenses, this would fit your needs very nicely. Anthony | Flickr
