Hi,
I can't find the option to set it to take raw images.... it takes JPEG only. can't find it in the manual either. If you own a EOS 30D and know how to set the camera to take raw images please let me know. I would really appreciate your help. Thank you

I've only got a 20D so dunno if it's the same but on mine the quality setting is the very first item in the menu I believe.

Would they have changed it for the 30D?

Are you in one of the creative zone modes?

Sounds like you are in Auto "Green Box" mode, get yourself into the creative zone and all will be revealed! Have fun! :)

It hasn't changed for the 30D. After you actually choose "quality" in the menu, it looks a bit different, but getting to it is the same. First item in the menu. Turn the quick control dial to the right option, and press " set ".

Look on page 53 and 54 of your manual. It shows how to set up Raw.
