I recently purchased a Rebel XT. I am learning something new about it each day. I have noticed that the LCD monitor sometimes seems shakey. Not the picture part, but the part that tells me my battery level and number of pic's taken. Has anyone else noticed this?

Its definitely a defect if your camera has a shakey LCD monitor. Can you get a replacement from where you bought this?

I have not seen this on my XT either. I would definitely get it checked as hudsonch mentioned.

If I understand correctly you mean the info on the screen moves?

Thanks to all who replied. It was a defective LCD PANEL when I shot a pic, every possible number/ letter would display. Circuit City replaced it yesterday. Thanks CCity.
