The key I find is getting the center in focus (which you did), and then go from there. There is some distraction in the photo but overall a nice shot. Screening shots

Unfortunately you need something like my 45TS-E lens to accomplish this.......take a look at this guys flower shots (www.noriravi.com)......they are superb and taken with a TS-E lens which allows for the fast aperture and moving the plane of focus. The colours you got are really nice though!!!
