Taken in the wild at Formby Point near Manchester/Liverpool, both taken with 20D and 100-400L hand held.

Hi Ian, lovely shots mate.:) Formby Point has long been on my short list of places to visit. Did you see many Red Squirrels or were they quite elusive? Judging from your shots this little fella seemed pretty bold.

Mark, thats 2 totally different squirrels mate ! :) at one point had 5 of them in front of us ! one was so close i couldnt focus on it ! All you need are hazlenuts ! :) dont use peanuts ! ;)

Very cool looking squirrels,,got to love those ears. Quite different from the red squirrels I am used to and very nicely presented here.

I love red squirrels - unfortunately here in Warwickshire I have yet to see one in the wild (grey's are 10 a penny) you must point me in their direction....
