These wonderful flowers were shot with a 200 F2.8 and 1.4 x converter (pink) on a rainy day last week and the 400 F5.6 on a sunnier day (Red) 2 days ago. Hope you enjoy and comments and critiques are welcome.

The 1.4X converter gives the lens an additinal focal length multiplied by 1.4. So the 200mm F2.8 I was using with it becomes a 280 mm lens and is slowed down by 1 F stop so it is now an F4 lens. The Canon 1.4X is a great converter for telephoto lenses. Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....

My wife is more passionate about gardenning than I am about photography. I think she has been trying to turn our yard into a National Park.....and I think she is succeeding Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....

I do like these flowers though as they take on very different characteristics depending on the lighting and angle of view.
