Also about the glass issues, forget liquid. I'd be happy if they can make glass without faulty design (e.g. 24-105L and 70-300IS) or one's that are more competitive in price. Sigma owns them with the 120-300 f/2.8. Heck their 100-300 f/4 owns them too. Those 70-300, 75-300's just aren't that up to par. Go UCLA

For a marketing guy he sure does know the detail behind the technical side of things. I'm sure he already knows about this board seeing this is the preeminent Canon forum. Hopefully he'll come along and post his expertise once in a while to clear up camera issues if he has the time. Maybe even take sensible board suggestions to Canon's R&D team. Mods - any chance of approaching him? 7D and lenses.
